In the midst of the August full moon, and the bible belt. The conservative state of Iowa has ruled for same sex unions. Based on the state constitution's guarantee of equal treatment.*I don't know how you feel about this, and don't care. But I will fight against discrimination in this country. I will not vote for any laws that impose discrimination on any group.
People will quote the Bible and shout about gay unions. But until I hear from a non human, super power of the Universe, I will not pass judgment.
When are people going to realize that if you are gay and have ambition, your dreams may not happen if you are "out". What a croc! A person with talent, or potential is going to have a tough road just because they do not fit the "norm" of what so call Christians think they should be. What about priests? So called "straight" men on the "down low"? Get with humanity people. Focus on what is important in life and get out of a person's home and life. Live and let live!
We do more harm with our prejudices, religions and judgments than wars.
Congratulation to Iowa for recognizing that family values start with a family. Not with the government.*
