World Event

As some of you know, today is the luckiest day this century, 7.7.07.
All though in the Asian culture 7 is not a lucky number=tragedy/death.
8 is their lucky number. Look out for the Asian wave on 8.8.08.

Moving on. It is also the date of the first world concert broadcast called Live Earth.
All of the more than more that 100 music artists are donating their talents to raise the world's awareness of global warming and its affects on us.

They will also be giving tips on what we can do to cut down on the carbon emissions.
TIP 1: Rock stars/Actors/other affluent persons should donate their Escalades, Navigators, Limos and other consumptive equipment to fight Global Warming.

Live Earth will reach this worldwide audience through an unprecedented global media architecture covering all media platforms - TV, radio, Internet and wireless channels.
This event is going to be rolling through the 7 continents of the world, over 24 hours.
With an expected audience of more than 2 billion.

One of the locations is China. According to the World Bank, 16 of the world's 20 most polluted cities are in China. China is now the world's second-largest emitter of carbon dioxide, the main gas linked to global warming, and it is set to overtake the United States in 2009, a decade earlier than previously predicted.

It should be worth a "look see" at least to see how China presents itself.
