The weekend is almost over. What a weekend it has been.
The 11 year old in Alabama that lead police on a high speed chase.
Rolled the car. Arrested for DUI.
The report read that "the blood test taken at the hospital showed the blood alcohol level was 0.02, which is above the legal limit for a minor".
Is the legal limit different for a non minor?
The girl was treated and released.
I'm not even going to give "lip service" to the 2 people that left infants in the car, windows up, temp 90+ degrees.
Bless the childern that were left and forgotten. The law will deal with both adults, one a step grandmother (forgot a 15 month old for 5 hrs) the other was the infants uncle.
Bulls 9 (2 gored/7 crushed) humans 0. That is the score in the annual running of the bulls in Pamplona, Spain. It happened in the second day of the week long event.
The ritual that was romanticized by Ernest Hemingway. Since records began in 1924, 13 people have been killed.
Clark county, Las Vegas issued 1,600 marriage licenses on Friday to couples wishing to tie the knot on the lucky 7.7.07 date. Good luck and Best Wishes to everyone.
Also we have more wild fires. The latest was in South Dakota, in the Hot Springs area.
Hot Springs is home to Evan's Plunge. Built in 1890, it's naturally warm mineral water (87 degrees), the completely indoor pool is a relaxing destination all year around.
So far 20 homes destroyed, 1 death.
And I can't say enough about the Live Earth concert. What a spectacular feat of organization and broadcasting. I did not detect any "glitches" in the performances.
The 150 artist that preformed were definitely worth the watch.
No matter what your opinion of Al Gore or Global Warming is, this was a brilliant idea and a world wide event.
KUDOs to all that were involved and many thanks for the "heads up" to the world.
