Fire up a Colortini

A tribute-
We have lost another great one-on-one interviewer, Tom Snyder.
I watched The Tomorrow Show (1973-1981) after Johnny Carson.
In his opening, Snyder would talk about subjects that were current, Oliver, his old English Sheepdog, his mom and life in
Milwaukee. At the end of his monologue Snyder, still looking into the camera, would say-”Fire up a colortini, sit back, relax, and watch the pictures, as they fly through the air.” Then pan to the Teddy Bear that sat in the chair.
His interviews, had an erudite style (Phil Donahue also has it) that is rarely used on programs today. My favorite quote (outside of the one above)
"You get two kinds of late night viewers; the thinkers, and the drinkers." Wish that was true for TV today.
A colortini raised to you Tom, Thanks for your humor and interviews.

Another loss is the Swedish director
Ingmar Bergman-seeing his films was a challenge to the eye and mind. Even though his films were not very popular in the USA due to subtitles, He was an master artist in is craft.
