Circles

As the country goes around and around.
Down and down.
So do the lives of people.
We are all hurrying to what?
Oh how I yearn to be in the midst of the red rocks of peace.

Summer

With the flooding in the Midwest.
Heat in the West.
Gas going up and up.
Food increasing at an unblieviable rate.
People losing jobs.
Houses being foreclosed on.
Today is the start of Summer.
I only hope that everything will start to settle down to a normal Summer.
Some people will be able to travel and enjoy all the beautiful gifts this country has to offer.
The rest of us will be surfing the net, looking for ways to stretch our money and new jobs.
Let's all look forward to a brighter future and a new administration next year.

Thoughts

The time span is closing between Christmas and The New Year.
We will all reflect on the good, the frivolous, and bad of 2007
as we say 'Farewell.'
My hope is that serious changes happen to motivate the people of this
country to act. Get informed and VOTE!!!!!!

In our personal lives, I wish only the best for everyone in the New Year.
We all could use happiness and a little good fortune.
